Meningkatkan Perkembangan Sosial Emosional Anak Melalui Permainan Estafet Bola Pada Anak Usia 5 – 6 Tahun Di PAUD Al-Mukhtar Kembang Kerang Kecamatan Aikmel

Abstrak

This research began with the finding that children aged 5 – 6 years at PAUD Al-Mukhtar Kembang Kerang
had not developed their social emotional development optimally. Observations made show that children have
not been able to adapt to the situation when playing, have not been able to cooperate, give up easily in
completing tasks and have not been able to obey the rules when playing. Based on these findings, the aim of
this research is to improve children's social emotional development through ball relay games for children
aged 5 - 6 years at the Al-Mukhtar Kembang Kerang Preschool, Aikmel District, Academic Year 2023/2024.
This research was carried out at PAUD Al-Mukhtar Kembang Kerang, Aikmel District, which consisted of 15
children, including 12 boys and 3 girls. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with 4
stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was carried out in 2
cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Data collection techniques in this research used observation and
documentation and the data that had been collected was analyzed using PAUD assessment guidelines.
Based on research results, increasing children's social emotional development through ball relay games can
be proven by an increase in each cycle. The research results show classical completeness in the initial
condition, namely 6.7% with the criteria of not yet developing (BB). In cycle I, meetings I and II were
33.33% with the criteria not yet developed (BB), and achieving completion in cycle II meetings I and II was
86.7% with the criteria developing as expected (BSH). The difference in the classical percentage of
children's social emotional development from cycle I to cycle II reached 53.37%. Thus, it can be concluded
that the ball relay game can improve the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD
Al-Mukhtar Kembang Kerang, Aikmel District, for the 2023/2024 academic year.
